Refering too what? That my paper logs were fine? That I was rarely called on them? That I check with safety in west memphis every month or two? That they have three different elogs systems and ran test groups to help.decide which ones to.go with?

Now theu may start installing them.o. the guys with bad logs first. That would make sense. But the whole fleet is going to them withing the next 1-2 years unless.something changes in the mwan time.

All the new trucks have elogs and no apu. So when your truck hits 500k-550k and they send you to get a new rruck you'll also sit thru an elog class.

I never said it was bad or good.

I could care less as long as I am.paid for the work I do.

    So I ask.again.why the comment?

Are you trying to call.me a fool? Stir the pot? Pick fights with a fellow usa driver on the forums?

Believe what you want. If you chose to not believe the elogs are coming thays fine. Want proof? Call Mr. Ambrose the director of safety. He will explain it to ya

20130611_154430.jpg I have a 2013 with 67000 miles so I guess it will be a long time before I get called in for a new truck. FWI, USA has tested elogs many times already and decided against them every time. But, if I did get put on elogs I don't think it would be all that bad. I would probably gain more time. With paper logs I have to constantly round every thing up 15 minutes or safety accuses me of over speeding. Wouldn't miss the apu either since I barely use it. I don't care much for AC.

Well the hos rules go in affect July 1st,dont know what the changes are doubt it will affect me any.Rarely do I drive over 8 hours a day, never do restarts out here, and never drive 8 consecutive hours so the 30 minute break wont affect me either. Will be lots of chatter on cb from guys whining like always lol

falcon I have a 2013 with 35000 miles on it.It had 1000 miles on it when it was issued to me out of VanBuren. They didn't send me to a class for e logs, but I have heard from the very few people I know in the office that we will be on E logs by the end of the year company wide. All the new trucks have qualcomms that are e log capable so one would imagine those will be the first to go to them.Older trucks will be switched over to the new qualcomms. They were already doing that in Denton last month when I stopped in to get HUT sticker.Mine does not have APU but it idles all night when temp is above 70 and below 50 no biggie except the calls from Dm like today telling me my idle time was 54 percent last week.Told him temp was above 70 every night except last night in Indiana so nothing I can do about that

I ran 2600 plus miles last week, longest run was 1200 miles to Florida, ran 2600 week before longest run was 850 miles.I started today with 8.5 total hours, have 8.5 tomorrow also,so I do max out my hours also I just don't max em out to the point where I have to do restarts out here.I go home every twelve days and take my two days off that is my restart. My financial situation is different than yours I do believe.I only need 2200 to 2500 miles a week ,my wife makes good money so I don't have to run 3000 miles a week anymore to keep my head above water
