How to get tanker endorsement?

I would say dmv or bmv. That is what we have to do in ohio.

 

Pick up a cdl manual at the DMV.The tankers chapter is short and the test is easy.I read the chapter once and passed.

 

It's a 20 question test. Not hard at all. Read your cdl manual and there are practice tests on the web. Shouldn't have any problems.

Just google cdl tanker test & a pre test or tests should come up. I just pass mine last week. Not that hard though

 

First you need to get finger printed, and a back round check done it costs about $86. Then, you need to pass the haz mat test... Oh, and when you need to renew your license, you need to be finger printed and back round checked again(apparently your prints must change with time). and of course repay the $86 fee.

 

Tanker test is easy Mainer..(sure miss Maine) all you have to do is take the written and add to your license...just that easy. Hopefully you already have the hazmat,that's the pain in the ###! Bc of finger prints and fees and finger prints and fees and finger prints and fees....never ending with that one.

 

In PA it is any drivers license center. Twenty questions need to get 16 correct. Same deal with doubles endorsement.
