Sitting in the TA in Lodi, Oh. Trailer repairs and lower rad hose. Picked up my load before and stopped at the cat scale before checkin in. Do I even need to say it? Yep, 81500 even though the scale where I picked up said 70000. Hmm, something just a little fishy here. Wonder why it jumped from 81 to 70k in the time it took to blink. Place is closed now, will just have to go back in the morning. Was supposed to deliver at 0700 by ALcoa. That ain't happening.

 

Nope. New account. Green mountain coffee. Near burlington, vt. Delivering the little plastic cups they put coffee in for the single serve coffee makers.

Staying at Chicago term one more night. Seems showing up early for pick up was pointless. They were and hour late even starting to.load me. Spent 6.5 hours at shipper. To late to get any driving done. To hard to find a place to shut down as it gets late. Oh well. Was going to try for a restart. Guess that ain't happening.

Sitting at lo ea in conneaut oh. Think ill just stay here. Can go.all the way to the final.as there is only a rest area to park in the area. Onlu has 9 truck spots in it. Going to stop at exit 16(I think) I-87 north of albany tomorrow night. I'm 7.5 hrs from there. Figured it didn't matter if I drove 5 or 7 hrs tomorrow I'm still driving 3 monday morning.

Getting out of the truck and doing that now. I'm gonna climb on top of the trailer and yell it at the top of my lungs. Just gotta decide if I'm gonna put pants on or not.

Sittin in a hotel, APU quit on Thursday and truck has no a/c. Headed to MillerCoors in Trenton, OH later today.

 

Sounds like an exciting load. It's probably not going much farther than that either.

 

Elkton, VA, delivers tomorrow, as long as there is a hotel nearby I won't mind APU-less trucks are awfully hot at night.
