I have heard similar from other former employees. Everything is OK for a while, then "WHAM!" they start screwing with you. Sound familiar? Can you say "JB Hunt" or "Werner" or "Covenant" or thousands of other low-life companies?

Finding an honest company is getting harder than I ever imagined it would back when I first started delivering freight.

I worked for them back between 1999- 2001, sounds like they haven't changed any... Never allowed me to use any toll road, especially when they wanted me to run between buffalo ny to Rome ny, using all 2 lane roads, and log it at 65mph, or they would schedule loads where you would have to run 800-900 miles non stop. The guy who was recruiting and doing the orientation, David S, would put on a great smoke and mirrors show, claiming "I'm a Christian man, I don't lie!!"... In reality, he was a lying ########. In addition, one of the dispatchers thought it only took 1 hour to get from Binghamton ny to Albany never mind they are 100 miles apart!!! Glad I left there when I did.

    wow. Really?

I drove for Schugel in 1999 for 6 months, (fresh outta school) I did 2 months OTR and 4 months regional. I left for 2 reasons. I had a 4 month old baby that didnt recognize me when i came home on weekends, and I was offered a local/regional position payin $15/hr (local) and 35 cpm (regional shorthaul) as opposed to J&R's 24 cpm

had no issue with the company they just wasnt payin ####

While I cant say a thing about em nowadays--just another example of a VERY GOOD FAMILY company goin down--Im sure Harold is rollin over in his grave--RIP--especially since from what I hear his oldest grandson is know calling himself president--but thas gotta be because of Mommy--cause even his Dad knows what a loser he has been for a long time--
And just for giggles any of you checkin it out or workin there--ask little Ricky how he lost Bestline after daddy gave it to him--and why he had to come home--that should be priceless! LMFAO

This don't surprise me...just look at all the companies who the founder usually the father hands over the reins to the kid and the kid runs it in the ground..
