There are many drivers that get close to 70 hours in 5 days then sit home for a couple of days . That 70 hours usually pays more than the 70 hours OTR drivers make dragged out in 7 days .

Many of the ''rules'' would not be so BAD if the dam ''rates'' would go up...Like my run to Queens Ny..It is only 310 miles and it pays 2,200 bucks.Not to bad for 6-7 hours of work.100% LEGAL.I feel the biggest issue is the ''rates''..

And yet no one wants to discuss the RATES...Drivers just seem to be stuck on stupid and seem to have been manipulated into this PAY CUT as being the ''norm''..

 

If its not a fact then how come the megas are wanting the new HOS delayed? Read the OP's post. Seems the megas are the ones going to the feds. I enjoy working smarter, not harder. The megas seem not to like motos like that I guess.
