No where to park at morning drop. If they get me unloaded by 9 I can get to pick up and get a 10. T/S right down the street

Did you know that whatever time you have to get out of the truck to sign papers or go into get your bills that your suppose to log that? signing bills is suppose to be logged on line 4 and the 15 minutes you log for bumping the dock does not qualify as on duty time for paper work related things each time is suppose to be logged separately on line 4 unless you are staying on line 4 the whole time while getting unloaded or loaded just a helpful tip of the day lol

How many guys are gonna take the 30 minute break everyday that DOT is going to require now?Be honest. My guess is most people are gonna show a break on their log book but not really take a 30 minute one.Which we all know is fine and dandy till someone gets hurt or killed and then they pull a years worth of QUALCOMM records and find out joe blow driver really didn't stop each day for a 30 minute break
-
I log a total of 15 and it has never been an issue with USA or the DOT. Just got another inspection last night and passed with flying colors. Got me a new sticker for the window. I will probably get stopped again though since I'm hauling radioactive but they cant inspect me for 2 weeks

im glad you log it like that all usa drivers do as do drivers with most companies ,im just stating what is expected legally. Here is the mentality I keep every day out here:What if someone runs into me and gets killed.Would everything I do that day hold up in a court of law?Does my bills have a time stamp on it showing I signed them at a particular time and my log book says I was in the sleeper berth at that time. When they pull my phone records will they show I didn't send a single text while on line three that day. Will my QUALCOMM records that would get subpeoned reflect 100 percent what my log book does? that's the attitude I have every day im out here.We all know how to make it look legal on paper, but that fudging crap would not hold up in court in the event of a fatality ,your a smart man Dc you know that as well as I do.

Richfield, WI headed to Hartford, WI from Jay, ME gotta love those paper rolls 
-
Gotta love the mill in Jay. I usually end up sitting around the corner at MCDonalds an entire day waiting on the load.
-
Hell yes, last time I was there took 7 hours. I was prepared this time for the wait. Only took about a hour. Was stunned
-
Forrest Park. I got here and had to take my load 7 miles away to a drop lot...... because it is a low priority theft probability. If it were a high priority theft probability the load could stay with the tractor. So, if you come here with a load of fiberglass film from Chicago or any miniscule type payload be prepared to give and extra 45 minutes or more on the log book. The wifi is still free........ I think. LOL
