They told me two weeks. Then changed it to three weeks. Then tried to get me to home under load. It changes. They change it. Then when you tell them that won't work. They get mad at you. But I stuck it out. It depends on your travel agent. I had a real "Bonehead".

I work twelve days off for two full days, been doing it last two years.I go home every other Friday and come back out on Mondays at 0530

The policy is one day off for every week out but they also have a separate policy of 12 days out and 2 days off for driver's that mostly run in a region. Also, drivers that live outside of the freight network (west of I35) are typically out much longer.
Thomas0810 Thanks this. -
my region covers all 48 lol

I'm just stating how the policies were meant to be. The bottom line is 1 day off for every week out and that's the policy I go by since I'm usually out for 5 weeks at a time.

This is what they advertise on their facebook page each day driver7702003,ease up Dc your way to sensitive,You never answered my ? yesterday. Are you going to take the mandated 30 minute rest break each day or just fudge it on the books?
-
If you read the fine print it also states that you must live in certain regions to do the 12 out and 2 off. You live in the DFW area which happens to be one of those regions. But, the policy is still 1 day off for every week out and thats the polict I am under.

I already take a 30 minuted break. I usually stop for quick cardio workout with the jump rope.
