The easiest thing would be a daycab but would they want to pay for hotel rooms? I see plenty of car haulers in daycabs doing otr on the east coast.

Yeah just more shipper BS---to get something for nothing--I NEED a 53' trailer--YOU have to be able to scale 49K--its all BS--do the math--4k+more per shipment--after a year they get 5-7 LOADS HAULED FOR FREE!--Yeah for them--and they do it all at less of a rate than they paid last year--What a deal---####EM!

Glad you cleared that up cause I dont think anyone in their right mine would pull a unit off just to haul a load the cost of removal and reinstall would eat their profits

Not to mention, I don't think the liteweight Pete's worked very well, as it looks like they are selling or have sold most of them off, some at VERY low mileage.

I believe they only had ISM 10.8 Cummins in them at 410 hp with straight 10 speeds, 79,800 is asking a LOT out of that setup.

I have never seen an OTR truck with a refrigerated trailer that could scale 49,000 pounds. Like the other hand said, shipper wanting to get his freight cost down.

You got that right! No other reason to request scalable to 49k other than them being cheap, not wanting to order two trucks. Unless it's some rare product that is one unit, those shippers should be ashamed. What low life BS.

Oh hell I can scale 49k with a reefer and my 22k Pete with a 70" bunk. Just give me 6 axles instead of 5 hahah.

I drive a 2009 Pro Star & I wouldnt have to worry about the scales.... I wouldn't make it out of the parking lot! That #### thing struggles with 42k. Not fun.

Good #### with only 42k in the box you struggle? What do you do when you're bucking a 40mph head wind?
