Alright new plan because that's unacceptable. Next time that happens call me. Well pull over on the side of the road. Chain the front of your truck to my trailer and I'll get you up to speed :biggrin_2559:

    Big_D409 and HuskerJim Thank this.

only if the rate is there--these folks asking to scale this much are already pauin rates NO ONE with any sense would TOUCH--and now they want more for NOTHING--it isnt about how much u can haul--it is how much less they want you to haul more for--Made a lot of money in this biz for a LOOOOOONG time takin the xtra 2 pallets a customer needed to send--and the load ended up being well OG--but I was getting a very good Tl rate already--and told cust Ill take the others--on a seperate 2 pallet zone to zone LTL---which usually worked out to 45-50% of the tl rate--which is also why I have ALWAYS done LTL--way better rates--and I decide how heavy I am going to be--vs how much MORE I WILL MAKE RUNNIN LIKE THIS

I run a 11.1 325 hp series 60 Detroit and I haul logs with it. Up to 105,000. Usually 85-90k.

You can do that, but I'm sure you are not doing it with a 3.36 rear gear OR a 65 mph top speed, right?

What about a reefer conestoga? I have seen a couple of these up in Oregon and you would be able to scale it in that im sure. Might be hard to find someone with one but they do exist

This is why ata and big fleets and shippers are pushing for a 6th axle and 97k gross weights.
