J in OH heading to MO for a Monday unload ... So what do you guys say to your wife when you have her on the phone and the LLs come knocking?

 

I tell my wife that a LL is knocking and she asks me what she looks like.

Actually I've found most LLs keep walking when they see me on the phone.

 

At home in Kirkland Wa tonight. Going on two weeks without a working QC. It didn't survive the 1 meter drop test. Been doing paper logs. OTOH I haven't had to arrived / depart call thing, and no goal msgs either.

 

I found a little shortcut for the GOAL message-- type it out first thing in the morning, highlight it, then control C then when you are ready, control V about 10 times real quick then send lol. It's always copied in the memory so ever time you need it just hit control V.

Deadheaded from SeaTac to southern Washington to visit with family for the night and sleep in a real bed. Picked up the next morning refreshed 22 mt, 803 loaded to Salt Lake area, picking up next load in the vicinity going to Sleepy Eye MN. Spent last night playing in the casino in Pendleton OR lost a few bucks on craps, but won it all back and then some tonight at West Wendover NV casino. Had a series of good shooters, the one fellow on the end was playing black chips he walked away with several thousand dollars.

Haven't sent one since Dec 13, 2011, the day I had my backing accident.

 

Taking a 34 at Little America, WY. Didn't need one (a 34) but since I was eligible and my load doesn't deliver in Idaho Falls til Monday afternoon I decided "why not".

 

guess we are in the same boat steve. except im at the lathrop terminal. load deliver in richmond ca between midnite and 1000. need a spare tire and need to have front end looked at tomorrow due to it shaking really bad. at least i"ll get a 34 in though don't need one. haven't taken one since i came back mid june
