Well last day of orientation AGAIN!!! LOL!! For you trainers out there, all I can say is good luck. But they at least have an excuse. The 7 or so exp drivers that are coming on........ Well all I can say is I have never seen this many people with THAT much exp. If you can think of a place or situation, they have probably been there. Now to just get truck assignments and see what destination my butt will be heading to to get it. Only 2 tba trucks here. Oh well. And as they said on the titanic, and the band played on!!!! LOL see everyone out on the road!!! AGAIN!! Stay safe
Where, OH, Where........

Ok done for the day. Stopped at a McDonald's in Mattoon, IL. Exit 184 on I57. Saw it and really didn't want to stop in effingham. GPS says I'm 20 hours from our Laredo yard. So I'm guessing ill arrive friday night if I run 10 hrs a day. But as long as I'm there by saturday afternoon ill get a restart I don't really need but ill take. Will put me at 2300 miles for the week which is fine. Ill always take more but I'm happy and bills paid with what I got.

Dont count on a restart. Your load will drop and the brokers are open weekend's. You will also probably get a preplan before you get there. They have a lot of freight shipping out of there right now.Thomas0810 Thanks this.

Maybe. But I already asked my fm about the delivery. She said deliver Monday morning. I can always plan my trip to not arrive until saturday. And unless the freight is already on the yard, in my experience down there, most won't arrive until Monday. Now I don't doubt its already on the yard. But my FM is pretty reliable in that what is planned is usually how it goes. Sometimes that's good sometimes its not. If they have freight waiting and want me to drop my load and get another that's fine too. More miles for me. If I get a restart great, if not then cool. I'm usually easy to work with in these situations.
Either way it goes I'm getting me some darn tacos...
