Been to Reno and Vegas many times over the years and rarely gamble. There is just somehing about putting my money in a machine and getting nothing back. Did get married in Reno a long time ago and I'm still married.

spokane wa... just dropped the trailer off at dropyard for another driver to take it into canada. had to make 2 stops in order to find airhose to fillup air in trailer low tire. i used my hose at the shipper and took forever. so thought a truckstop would be faster. still had about 80 lbs. but didn't want to leave it for the other driver to do

Delivered in Little House on the Prairie country and retreated to the nearest truckstop. No showers, no laundry and 3 hours left on 70 so options to get out were slim. As the next morning closed in, was getting close to a 24 hour break that would refresh my Canada clocks by 1000 Pacific, was offered a load to pick up at 0800 local (0600 Pac) and deliver JIT at 0001. Sent mac 9 pushing out pick up time to fit in a 14 hour window, load removed then re-offered same 0800 pu. I sent mac 9 three times, they rejected and re-offered three times. I asked about early delivery, 'no promises, not likely'. Called the customer, by this time 0800 was long gone, and he sounded mildly upset that I was not there yet. Tried to get this load because it would be adding miles to the week cutoff. Finally got the idea to ask if there was a delivery window, turns out 12 hour window until the next day. It's a drop and JIT and a big delivery window? DM says if you accept it, make sure to send a mac 22, passed on that load.

Wisconsin now headed to Mississippi. 102 degrees and humid here just like MS lol

delivered to quaker in Tacoma, WA
I recognized the place from being here before and getting a live load, I had issues dropping the trailer and getting backed in, not sure if its stress or I just going backward or maybe both but it took me like 20min to get my trailer into its spot today, got it in there and just bobtailed out and parked down the road at a loves, good thing I chose to bobtail since parking was zip even at 3pm except for 2 or so bobtailed spots.
They sent me a load offering this morning to pick up at 15:00, I declined it stating I couldnt and will have just a little over a hour left, noway I can drive there and get live loaded and then find a place to park for a 10....
I havent been feeling good today with an upset stomach and getting lightheaded and dizzy spells so I pushed my pta to 07:00 tomorrow morning, they then send a load offering for 6am which is already before my pta I wanted and I would have to go hunt an empty first so I would have to get going even earlier than that, I havent even replied to it, I dont feel good and im not committing to any loads until I know im ok to drive, today I kept finding myself drifting off in space and losing concentration.
I think I will decline the load with reasoning im sick and just state im pushing pta to noon or later unless I feel better before then.

Honestly I think some of the stress has been getting to me, been getting depressed lately too missing my kids, im at the point where im not sure how much longer I want to continue doing this, I love driving dont get me wrong and I would continue if I can find something local which I might just do, its hard when my daughter calls me and states im never home and ask when she will ever see me again. I thought I would handle this career much better and I feel im failing at parts of it now.

Funny I decline the load and put I would pick up at 12 and deliver at 18:00, they come back with it adjusted for those times and want me to redo the mac 9, I put in reasoning I was sick and not committing yet so not sure if I should just ignore it or decline again.
