Scored a macro 30 load out of Laredo going to middle of nowhere Texas. The load was tcalled in Laredo, I swooped in about 0400 to pick it up , delivery set for 1300 live unload. Trailer had lights burned out and no registration. Laredo shop was closed and I had already bought the fuel to make this load for the pay period cutoff. Sent a message to breakdown for permission to fix at the TA across the street and got it. Got down to the final but they insisted it was to be a drop but they had no trailer for me to swap. There was a problem with the drop vs live unload and they would not give me another load til I got the trailer back. I left and did a 10 then went back, had to wait over 20 hours to get the trailer back.
Saw another mac 30 load and hit Reply/1/Send/Yes and boom, the load was assigned. Got into it with my driver manager that I had not accepted that load via macro 9 and she kept insisting that I did accept it. Today sitting in Dallas area, cannot get anyone to respond on the qualcomm at all now and I'm trying to get home by August 1st.
Edit: forgot to mention the load was supposed to deliver in Arkansas but I was told to tcall in Lancaster which I did. Wake up to a message from fleet manager, 'why did you tcall that load?'
Also while sitting down in south Texas looking at several mac 30 loads and other load offers, I sent various messages asking about pick up and delivery times etc, always putting the load number right in the query message, often the reply back would be 'what load are you looking at?'
Anyway a very frustrating couple of days.
Good night from...

Scottie, sometimes I really wonder if anyone in the offices are actually looking at what is going on. As far as I know about MAC 30, once you reply and accept one, that is the same as MAC 9. I have been told that it can be a pain to get removed once you accept it. My out, I did not have all the info, now I do, and I will not take it. the only problem with MAC 30, not enough info. As far as the t-call, I had one like that a few weeks ago, delivered a load, which turned out 3 days early, and when did mt call, was told I could not since the load was set up for a t-call. Never received the t-call info
scottied67 Thanks this. -
There HAS to be someone in the office to look .
Seriously , 3 messages today about using q com instead of calling as they were once again
way under staffed .scottied67 Thanks this. -
Montgomery Ala.
Sitting in the Holiday Inn as my " new " truck got towed in after dying in the middle of no-where.
Its an International with high mileage. Have had it for a total of 7 running hours- picked it up , drove 3
hours to the house for hometime , then 3 hours to pick up load, then 1 hour with the load.
The yellow triangle came on and 10 seconds later it completely shut down.
Nice coasting with a 42000 lb load and no power steering...
Got it to refire , it died again while looking for a place to pull over ( 2 lane country hi way with no
shoulder ) refired it again while rolling and found a place to pull over a mile later.
Called On road ,seems truck was in garage twice in June for regen issues... got towed to a Freightliner garage that was closing as we pulled in.
They close at noon tomorrow and don't re-open til Monday.
Sigh ... -
these planners are horrible lately and no i dont think they know what is going on half the time.
Good luck to you silver
In San Bernandino, CA. Got to the Michelin tire warehouse to drop my load, get to the dock and go to open my back doors to see the doors bulging, I took extreme precaution and slowly undid a door then started to undo the next door since the left side was out over the right and I couldnt open and slowly opened to see a pile of pallets and boards fell against the doors and just the left door was holding them in place. I called and talked to receiving and they got a guy over to help me with a forklift who was the supervisor, he took a look and said just open the doors and jump back and if there is a mess he will clean it up so I did, I dont think I ever jumped back so fast lol. Anyway huge mess everywhere and I helped for 45min picking up boards and stacking them, he asked where I came from with the load and when I said the place he said there is the issue. He said that warehouse is lazy and they dont do anything right. They stacked pallets on top of the loose boards so they slid probably when I was going up a steep incline. Anyway he told me trucks usually park at the Walmart around the corner so I bobtailed out and went and parked, walked next door to the Jack in the box and got some dinner, little while later security came to my door and told me I had to leave that only Walmart trucks are allowed and she was kicking out the camper too. I drove in violation down the street passing 2 highway patrols thinking crap this would be a night to get checked.
Im tired from the drive as well, that 395 is a pain in the ### with all those little towns and stuff, the last couple hours of driving I was floating every gear since my legs were getting tired lol. Not to mention my ### hurt like hell driving 7 hours straight, normally I make a stop in between but needed to get this load delivered on time. Hopefully I get a good load when I pick up, I have a feeling they will have me running as a shuttle boy again since I set my home time for the 5th and they got me near home a week early like last time and had me doing all that local stuff. I dont even want to take time off, just need to run through home to pick up parts for my bpap machine. I want to take 4 days towards the end of August for my anniversary. Maybe I will call my DL in the morning and see if he can just help find me a load going through home that has an extra day on it or even half a day then cancel the home time. -
Still here in Morris. They will not remove this Green Bay pplan, hoping that they can find another load up there, so in the meantime, I can not find another load on MAC 30. I am thinking that they are thinking, wait long enough and then ask me to run 250 miles mt. That probably will not happen, but then again, I might be so peeved, I might just to get out of here. Found out that yesterday Costco cancelled about 50 loads.

oh great bisqueak. i just accepted a 3 stop costco load thats picks up in ogden and delivers to fontana, montclair and chino hills ca on monday morning. a light 22000 lb paperload

-
Waiting for what should be my last Walmart DC grocery load.
Gonna start a 34 tonight, then back to OTR on Monday. -
Finally sent a pplan, and just like I thought, dh to Green Bay, and now for tomorrow, and deliver at Kroger Monday night. If it was not for the load board, my days would be numbered right now. In six days, all of 1150 loaded miles. Well, just found out why the change for tomorrow, and that is when I came to morris yesterday from Portage, and the load cancelled, the screen was not updated so I was placed back in the Gary planners screen instead of Manteno, so they did not know that I was already sitting here. Found out when I saw the mt miles on the load. It was Portage to Green Bay, not Portage to Morris to Green Bay.
