Hey guys still trying to figure out this first in first out business....I accepted a load almost 2 hours ago but am still position 3. I thought that the coordinators had a 15min window to refuse the guys ahead of me out??????
-
that's when ya get off your keyster and call to see what going on, either call your coordinator or call the agent with the load. you got to be proactive or the world will pass you by.
callDisturbingThaPeace Thanks this. -
If you coordinator is slow, call the agent directly.
First in, first out is nice on paper, but isn't always applied in the office.DisturbingThaPeace Thanks this. -
how do I find out the agent's info? That's the part that I can't ever figure out unless its in the details of the load info. The trip number is CTV so what's next, is there a page with all the agency's phone numbers?
-
I called my coordinator, and I've already established he's slow as hell. I've started to commit myself to loads instead of calling him but then what?
-
Call into the main desk or your coordinator and ask them to connect you to the CTV ,bat, SLC........etc office. After hours now so agent offices probably closed.DisturbingThaPeace Thanks this.
-
Mercer puts out a sheet with all the agencies phone numbers. Get that emailed to you.
Once you commit yourself, that normally makes the coordinator call you.DisturbingThaPeace Thanks this. -
thanks I'll do that in the morning.
