No, its a necessary repower. Load's late.
I got hooked up, though. Old load is 1400 miles, is 77k lbs, has 3 drops in VA, PA, and MD, and is behind.
New load is 1500 miles, is lighter, has 1 drop in OR, and has plenty of time.

Who's been to the Leonard Meats in Vernon? Is it like Ralphs Compton or is there actually room there? Are they quick?

 

I've never been there, but this link shows a picture. Looks like they may have some room. How fast they are depends on how many trucks show up that morning.

Looked at Google earth. There was a couple refers parked on the street in front. Looks like there will be plenty of room to park if you arrive early. It is in an industrial park.

 

Wow lol, got out of my truck to dump out a few gallons of pee in the dirt, saw a guy walking towards my truck and didn't think much of it. Continued dumping out my pee jugs, walked back down the hill, guy was still standing there and then held up what looked like some pornos and I shook my head like no thanks. Then it finally dawned on me that another human being watched and waited for me to dump out my piss only to be denied a sale. Crazy world out here.

 

It is LA, no parking for trucks, no room, yes it is an industrial area, with lots of warehouses and lots of trucks, and lots of no parking zones. Keep in mind that Comifornia hates trucks.

 

Seriously? Plenty of places to take a piss when you're driving. I know truckers do this, but kinda disgusting.

 

Sorry, but there are times when I have to do this. I dont "like" it but I do what I have to. Example: parked at a receiver a few nights ago. They had a staging area accross the street. Had to pee in the morning, but there was nowhere to go. They wouldnt let anyone in the gate until 30 mins before appt time. I sure as hell wasnt going to hold it for 2.5 hours.

Dont judge unless you want to be judged.

 

I'm not talking about using an empty water bottle in a situation like you described, I talking about a "few gallons" that he was carrying in his truck. First of all, anything can happen, and all of a sudden you've got pee all over everything in the cab. Secondly, it's considered hazardous waste as far as DOT is concerned. I stand by my original post - disgusting.

 

peeing in a pop bottle is one thing, having gallons of pee stored in your truck is another and one could consider you a lazy slob who prolly doesn't shower
