Well, looks like I'm home until tuesday or Wednesday. Put my truck in shop yesterday for its first PM. Seems the fuel pump is going out. Said its a common issue on the detroit dd15 engine. Said it usually happens in the first 100, 000 miles. So now they check it at the service. Its warranty so gad to go to a detroit engine shop. I know the guy there he said he will put mine at the front of the line. FM said she will look into getting me breakdown starting monday since my home time is up sunday afternoon. Oh well guess its time to get as much done at home as I can.

oil filter clogged. hmmmmmmmm. I was wonderin' what all that noise was about. LOL
USA was crying about the price of a filter and oil change....... took 2 hours to decide if they wanted to get robbed or not. Stick 'em up.
Preplanned from Norfolk to Chicago. Lookout overpasses. I tippy-toe -
I better not tell USA I am also a diesel mechanic or else I might be fixing my own truck for free. LoL! On a funny note, while I am home this weekend I had my Hazmat endorsement added being my background check came back finally; the idiots put an H instead of the X endorsement on my CDL. NTH on my license,

Back in Montgomery, NY again for the rest of the weekend.

We all know what's in Marcy, NY, and what's not there..Parking, but that's where I'm headed for the night. Parking somewhere around there.
-
I thought Marcy may be a special someone somewhere. (snicker)
My first visit to Lumber Liquidators in Hampton, VA (today) saw a bunch of USA trucks swarming like bees. We looked good. Heading to north Illinois. Don't trust the scale there in Hampton. Get it weighed somewhere else too. My difference was an average of almost 500 lbs per tandom set and 100 on the front. That'll make you popular at the wrong places.Thomas0810 Thanks this.
