I think its the big companies that rely on DAC. When I was with the last two companies, they never cared about it, only if you could drive. Before I came out west, the last company orientation consisted of about 10 miuntes in the office... meeting the owner, the billng lady, the lady who assisted the owner dispatching, handed me my paper comic books, the fuel card and the keys, their phone number, and told me where the load was...addios amigo!

I've had several small, family owned local companies pull my DAC. It's not just that big companies that use it.

Don't think good companies full with the dac. I woulda never heard of the dac if it weren't for these trucking forums

About $10,000 to $20,000 a year.

 

Look out for the changes to the bonuses Knight hands out. Most drivers aren't going to be getting them anymore. Two inspections a month is #### near retarded.
