good luck, those multi stop loads are always a pita
they have it set up where you can get the first on time usually and then after that the rest are never on time do to the last customers taking forever. Like the one I did last for fred meyer the first stop was 6 and 2nd stop down the road 25 miles for 6:45, they didnt even start unloading me until almost 7....

Wolfy now when you sit at the Swift terminal picnic tables and the drivers are telling their wild stories, now you can tell your true story. I was just walking Abby through the smoking area at Lathrop the other night, there was a guy there talking about hauling tigers and circus elephants. He said he saw a Swift driver reach into the tiger cage with his cell phone camera to get a close-up and the white tiger just about bit his arm off. Then he went on about hauling the elephants, evidently the trainer rides back there as well and the elephants are handcuffed/chained down to the floor for the ride, this is why the protesters do what they do he says.

Houston, TX. What a day of pplans. Baytown to Searcy, declined, reason, will not deal with Memphis planners on a Friday trying to get a good load. This prompted a phone call. Said that I would probably get a Wal-Mart load right out. Key word, probably. Heavy going to east coast. Still said nope. Sent the same pplan again, declined, see reason for declining first time. Then sent a pplan for Hurricane, UT. Had me pu before my pta. Declined with time that I could pu, taken off me, then about 1 hour later, sent again with my time in it. Before I had a chance to stop and make sure, msg, see that you have looked at it, time expired. Called in and get ECT PHX. Knew that I was screwed then. He asked if I could still del on time, and I told him that there was a window, and no, there was not. Then I mentioned that I am not even picking up until 0930, and he said no, load says 0100. Not according to the pplan that I am looking at. Not going to argue with them. Just said, keep it off me.

well there are lies to that story for sure since I witnessed first hand, they bring the elephants out of the train and walk them to the trailers without ropes, "handcuffs", no chains nothing, they follow their handler like a dog does and they go into the trailer not tied down whatsoever.
Also the tiger cages do not have enough of an opening once in the trailer to reach a hand in and when they are being transported no driver is allowed outside of his truck....got to love the fibs and glamour some of these drivers try to add....they are very serious about safety of the animals, the first night they let me stand to the side but the 2nd day they told me to get back in my truck and I can hand out my passenger door and take pics. Also it could be true they hauled elephants but who knows, I was lucky to get to do it since they had a tour driver not show up but normally its only the tour drivers rather its from the circus tour or the disney on ice tour. I know the 2 hauls was a Driver leader for disney on ice, DL for the circus and myself.

These protesters are using facts of way back in the olden days, these animals are spoiled, the elephants even get manicures....the trailers are air conditioned, they drive a maximum of 20mph for the elephants safety plus all the police escorts to get them moved safely and without added stress, and they get fed 60-80 lbs of fruit a night as a treat and hay throughout the day. The only time they are chained is during the night when they are in their big pen but the chains are long and allow them to move freely, they only do this since at night 1 handler cant control 7 elephants by himself...I used to believe some stories but I got to see the passion and love these people have for their animals, the circus team is also an extremely tight "family" you dont dare mess with one of them especially one of their girls, even the tour workers from drivers to managers etc are part of this family after so many years together.

As with most stories I would take it with a grain of salt, go look at my pics again while they were moving these elephants and see if you see any kind of binding device....

looking back I dont even think I mentioned what happened to me today, I was woken up to an important message at 8:43, it said my load was rescheduled to pick up between 8:00-8:45 and I was like ummm....called up and got a DM and said wtf is this? im 40 miles away and now its saying to pick up 3hours and 15 min early AND telling me 2 minutes before the time? I dont think so....he said just get there when I can, looked at my time and only in sleeper for 9 hours but had 10 hours left on the clock for the split so I took off real quick, I get there and the people said they never changed the time that it was 12pm
these planners need to stop ####### up everything

Then sent a pplan for Hurricane, UT.

Went to walmart there last fall , there was one woman working and the walmart trucks just kept a coming , and she was moving at a high rate of speed .
After about 15 minutes she got to me and said " Sorry it took so long " I replied " No problem "
She said that other drivers weren't so kind and understanding .
First thought that popped into my mind was they must be gay .
Seriously , attractive AND hard working ... had I the time ( and money ) I would have
asked her out in a New York second.
( sigh ) Oh well , maybe next time.
