Welcome to the "load board" ... you will pick up and deliver in some unusual places and meet interesting people.

And for the first time I actually want to wish harm on a CSR ... unloaded by 6am, had a 8am drop and hook 15 minutes away. Sit and wait until 7:30 and pop over to the p/u ... nobody home ... instruction in the directions and signs all over the shipper said to park on street, do not pull into the yard until shipper checks you in ... call no answer, check , call for over the next hour, nada ... finally send a qc to let them know I'm heading to a t/s and if they can't get someone there in an hour I'm abandoning the load.

Get a qc back ... oh it's an after hours blind p/u, bills and instructions are in the trailer box ... thanks a lot, would have been nice to put that in the load notes ... I could have picked up the load at 6 am instead of squandering 4 hours.

Yeah, don't call in for stuff like that, you will be disappointed with the answer every time. Now you've started your 14 hour clock and lost your parking spot.

They have the ability to know if we have passengers or pets, all they have to do is look. I think the only thing they look at is the computer program which then searches for loads to match to drivers who may have the minimum hours available to possibly run it.

I have received load offers which state 'no pets' and turned it down for that reason and immediately followed by another load offer 'no pets' lol. Then get a message from DM that the planners are getting frustrated that I am turning down too many loads.

you cant help it if they are retarded, sucks even when they remove a load it counts against you

Im still sitting waiting on a load, tried to take a nap just in case they send a late night offer again but I just cant get to sleep, its hard for me to sleep during the day most of the time and my bedroom had too much light, I need to buy some blackout curtains for my house.

Sitting in Franklin, KY 250 miles from home with hometime request for tomorrow and no load. They tried to send me a load going to summer shade, ky a 100 mile run farther away from home but wouldn't back it up. Im not going to start my clocks and then watch my time waste away sitting waiting for a load. If they dont have a load to back It up now whats the chances of a load msgicly appearing two hours from now getting me home
