Thanks for the info on usa, im also gonna go to c1, an drive for usa. When i first started to look into them ( usa ) I found this guy on utube an all he could do was bash them. complained about his old truck, and then the next, an now he hauls fuel for someone else. but i could tell this guy was just whynin like a spoiled kid. If ya have any common sence ya know most companys arnt gonna give ya a newer truck to drive right out of school. Just stupid ! but there are quite a few usa drivers here that say that its not a bad company, just work hard an reap the rewards later. thanks everone ! truck on !

Nah they really ain't that bad. Yes you will have days that suck but you have to take the good with the bad. Just give them a chance and you will run miles and also have good home time. Good luck at c1.

You should get short mole pay for that. I think its $50. You have to ask and remind them. Some FMs forget easy to put in for it. Managing 30-45 drivers all crying at the same time probably ain't fun. Lol.

*COUGH*COUGH*...did you say "28 CPM" and "its not bad" in the same sentence? HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Thanks for a good laugh!!! I start my guys out at 60 CPM n up it from there. Its sad to see who thinks that a dirt poor wage is 'not that bad'...

You get paid 28 cpm to start and they pay for your cdls. I'm glad you start your drivers at 60 cpm. If your willing to pay for 60cpm then I guess yall have a pretty low turnover rate and drivers beating down the door to work there. I'm just putting my opinion that I like working for usa and its not that bad here. I have a perfect record and could go almost anywhere I want but I'm going to stay here until they get tired of me.

The $50 is correct and FM's don't forget, they just try to short you. I had one FM that even tried cheating me out of CAT scale reimbursement.

60 cpm and no miles or benefits? Or paid on a 1099? Which is it?

Unlike you, I was asking a serious question and would like an answer. You see beez, this guy is an owner/op from canada running a few trucks. So I really wouldn't expect him to pay anything but on the canadian equivilent of a 1099. And .60 cpm barely covers expenses, taxes and the cost of living over there. Thanks!

Btw, Cliff hasn't been CEO in awhile. New guy is doing a decent job.

This thread was started cause in my opinion usa is a good company. If you don't like usa cause you had a bad experience then I'm sorry it didn't work out for you but bad mouthing a company isn't going to make it better. I can honestly say that I have had bad times at usa but all in all they have done me really good and I enjoy working here. I'm making good money and home every other week. So I can honestly say I don't see anything wrong with usa and I know other companies might pay better but doesn't mean everything else is better. Since we got the new ceo it has been a complete turn around and I think for the better.
