Apparently you don't bother to read the other post here. They clearly talk about all the USA TRUCKS being seen. Sorry the only time we hear from you is when you have nothing to say that is worth while. Glad that no name company allowed you to go west. Apparently the folks there didn't like you out west and sent you back east.

Looks like it is you, not me that has nothing good to say about anything. If you were really happy with that company you run for, you would be posting that in their forum. Not making a fool of yourself in ours. Just sayin...

Apparently you're not driving local anymore..lol

Im not sure what a 1099 is, but Im guessibg thats the equivelant of being a contractor. I pay my guys as employees and I deduct taxes. The guys on mileage pay are averaging right around 11500 miles a month. 80% dental, precriptions and medical is already covered. Anything else you want to critisize my rate on? I also have a few guys on % n they do maybe 5000 miles a month and are taking home $8000+ a month. So yea, 28 cpm looks like a smokin deal to me...where can I sign up???

That's not technically true. USA will pay a portion of the tuition, and it when you really look at the numbers and factor in the fact that you're taking a lower pay rate per mile because of the financing compared to someone who pays cash...usa isn't paying for anything. But aside from however you want to look at it they only pay a portion, the student driver still pays around $eppp for his/her share of the tuition. There are quite a few companies that do offer the identical tuition assistance that do start off at a higher rate. It's true that everyone has to start somewhere, though, and everyone considering this business should do real good research on who they start with. If only I could go back in time. Looking back, USA was horrible, but what's done is done.

I'm NOT slamming anybody or USA, but will say this...I quit USA and wrote the whole tuition costs off...got enough back to pay off that stupid Driver's Solutions contract and am happily freed from that! I have a friend that went back to USA 3 times....just now quit and got fed up with them, AGAIN....he's just mad that I got on with a good company and EVERYTIME he went back to USA the first 3 months were good, then they went REALLY SOUR! But, like 4th said, a good FM will either make you, or break you in this industry! I, however, had a REALLY BAD ONE THERE! But, that was MY experience! I've talked to some USA guys, still, that are getting GREAT miles, and happy with them. Good for them! I'm happy where I'm at, and get paid alot more...but that's just me.

NOT slamming you frog....but you do know Canada is a "Socialist" country....they have pretty much free medical/dental up there! The 60 cpm is about making between 45 and 50 cpm here....not that bad! Don't know about his "fuel surcharge" or what not, if they ARE O/O, but taxes are done differently in different countries!

Sky high GST and PST taxes does not equal free medical, and he is also boasting he keeps them covered. Fuel at $1.20+ per litre not gallon is not free. Do you ever wonder why so many canadian drivers come here and run instead of going back to Canada like they should? (Cantonage). It must be because they are doing so well there. Yeah, right... I don't believe we are hearing the whole story here. If you do then I've got some ocean side property in AZ I want to talk to you about.
