I thought off duty driving was for personal conveyance. If you arent getting paid to drive IE steak diner and it doesnt benefit you are not getting a load its legal. I have to read about that again to see.

    *sigh*
I wake up this morning to a note on my door saying to come to the shop and verify my mileage, well come to find out someone screwed up somewhere (that cant happen right?)
my B service isnt even due for another 20k miles and the shop supervisor had to call up people to get me off safety

Then drove over to the tire shop and the guy said he will get me some drives, he asked where I got the truck, one tire should of been replaced a long time ago, i told him a month ago Denver shop claimed my tires were good and just go, he said a lot of tire guys are just lazy. Anyway he claims I will have tires in 1.5 hours or so, we will see.

I t-called a load this morning because I didn't have the hours to complete the run to Memphis area. It was a planned t-call because they knew I didn't have the hours.

Just as I left the terminal for the TS next door (with 14 minutes on my 14 and 30 minutes on my 70) I get 2 pplans.
Grab a short run from the terminal and deliver ~60 miles away by 0300 tomorrow, then drive mt 200 miles for a live load at 1300 - delivering a day and a half and ~900 miles later by 0700 on a JIT load.
I've got 24 hours rolling in, in that time. And my hours don't come in until 0200 local time.

I turned down the first short load, explaining my hours in the comments section.
Then I get taken off the second load, but no mention of the first.

I really hate it when they try to run me and my hours to the very minute, with no account for pre-trip time, post-trip, fueling, time at shipper/receiver... etc.

So I was researching the logs date and location where safety said I ran someone off the road. According to my logs I was 2000 miles away from where the incident happened. I called Safety to contest the IMDS report and they are working on it.

They are bright arent they... they should have looked up the location of your truck at the time it was reported. And it should have stopped there. No instead its easier to screw your day up

Truck went into shop yesterday AM as yet again the AC quit ( " fixed " 3 times in Lancaster 2 weeks ago )
The mechanic found out it also has some serious exhaust leaks that are being addressed as I type this.

Had half a dozen people comment on me snoozing in the drivers lounge this afternoon ,
    seems that I snore...lol.

Im at exit 211 on i64. Not far far you slivermitts. I wish I could strangle the planner that sent me this load. It picked up at the same walmart dc I dropped at going to sharon springs ny walmart dc with no delivery appointment yet and get a message can you be there by 1015 and I said no. And I told her it wont happen and then asked if it had a delivery time why is it I dont have it to see before accepting the load. I told her on the qualcomm I will never accept a load without a delivery time. I want to ask her to send a message to the planner and tell them "good job" and let the planner now its from me personally
