Tennessee's medical requirements for cdl.
http://fastertruck.com/pages/DOT-CDL-Physical-Exam-Drivers-Requirements.html
I read it. Unless I missed it I don't see anything about a sleep study or sleep apnea. -
Here's another link. I do not see mention of sleep apnea

Well one driver at oreintation got a 3 month medical card until he got a sleep study. This was in Van Buren.
I am not sure what you mean USA Truck does not allow CPAP, I am using mine. I have to, it is required since I have sleep apnea.
.36 cents a mile, was at Werner and Swift. Had a coulple years verifiable experience.
OK, Now that I got all the questions updated, I just completed my 1st week for USA Truck, Got calls from Daniel Morlin and Adam in Safety asking about how orientation went and what I thought about safety at USA Truck.
My week so far I am running anywhere from 350~525 miles a day. 1st check this Friday is supposed to have an extra $833 as 1st payment for my $5000 sign on bonus. It pays out every two months until I reach $5k.
I really like my Fleet manager and really like Karen who does the truck assignments. I have only met a handful of disgruntled drivers, they tend to hang out at the terminal with each other and complain about everything. Believe me, my experience so far with USA truck beats my experience with Werner and Swift hands down.
I am updating my progress as I go to try and help other decide on which company to drive for. I know when I was looking hometime was way more important than money and I hope USA Truck delivers. I asked for my 1st hometime on Sept 17~20. It is my 35th wedding anniversary and my wifes 60th birthday then.RetiredSarge Thanks this. -
trust me you will see the same ones whining and complaining on a regular basis lol they are like fleas ,just useless
RetiredSarge and J_FROG Thank this. -
And they love to hang in the lounges and smoking huts!!!! And they start fishing when you go by, trying to see if you are like them and will complain about everything. I piss them off when I say I love it here, everything is great!!! The look on their face is pricelessThomas0810, 4thgenerationtommy, J_FROG and 1 other person Thank this.

Even better when they complain about miles and you reply that you get plenty. When they ask how I reply "because I'm dependable, I'm on time to shipper and reciever, I communicate, I ask for miles, and I don't call my fm crying because I stubbed my little toe."
That really gets them goingJ_FROG and Thomas0810 Thank this. -
I've been inside of DISP many times and have seen first hand what goes on behind the scenes and from what I've been told and what I've seen I can say that the load planners know nothing at all about the drivers except for their truck number on the board. The reasons for some driver's always getting good loads and miles and others not is probably more a result of location and where the driver lives. USA wants as many miles on the trucks as possible regardless of rather or not the driver is a whiner. I'm sometimes a whiner and am not always the most likable person in the word but I push 3600 - 3800 miles just about every week. Naturally it would be in your best interest to have a good attitude but I sometimes wonder if frog and Thomas doesn't live in a fantasy word.

No actually I live in a more realistic world than others would like to believe. And it seems to me 30 days ago you were bragging about all the great miles you were getting and home all the time and nothing could stop you now attitude.
I've said it before, I get crummy loads and run the east more than I care to, but I does me absolutely no good to cry and whine daily and refuse to run them. Just do what you need to do, get it over with and get on to the next load.RetiredSarge and Thomas0810 Thank this. -
I believe you got me mixed up with someone else. I never once bragged about how many miles I get. I simply said that when it's all said and done attitude wont matter as much as you think it does. USA wants miles on the trucks regardless of rather or not they like the driver. Miles is how we all make money in this business. And BTW, I haven't been home once in the last 5 weeks. Enjoy your holiday weekend. I hear I have another 1500 mile load waiting for me in the morning and Im already at 3700 for this week.
