Smart ##### comment, Fabreeze won't work! We had a brand new Great Dane with a load of onions stolen & I had to go get it when it was found. I have smelled death, and everything else, but never that. They set the trailer on fire, then hauled the rest to be crushed.

Instead of coffee to absorb the odor, try baking soda. Should be able to get bulk size baking soda from Costco or Walmart.

Think Ive posted this before--elsewhere--but--best solution is a goodwashout facility--usually a tanker yanker place--that sanitizes--will almost always do the trick--BUT--if gotta do yourself--coffee just typically masks odors--and makes another mess--
Old tanker yanker trick---I learned years ago--Vanilla Extract--which can be purchased in larger quantities---I keep 2-3 ol windex type squirt bottles of it in sidebox---wash trailer out--spray--inside--just lightly-spray some into unit--and on chute-with vanilla--let sit bout 5 mins--turn unit on--washout againLilbit and DoneYourWay Thank this. -
+1
If the trailer sat on a lot the condenser is a moist environment and mold can easily grow when sitting.
Whatever you do don't mix bleach with ammonia or one behind the other. The reaction creates highly toxic fumes.
If all else fails change your underwear!

In low humidity areas (Nogales, El Paso, etc...) Always leave your doors wide open when waiting to load. I let a 3 year old trailer sit in my storage yard (Phoenix, AZ) for a few weeks. It lost 200 pounds.
You can and will get moisture built up in the walls, it molds and stinks. The only thing you can do about it is dry it. You cant dry it in high humidity areas so dont bother going to south Florida and trying it.DoneYourWay Thanks this. -
Well it seems as thought the ammonia pails under the return did the trick. I ran it 9 hrs took the ammonia out let it sit overnite with doors cracked open. This morning i ran it with doors open for awhile then closed it up ran it about 45 mins opened it up and it smelled pretty fresh. Maybe a hint of lemon scent. I opened the doors wide open and will go check it later on.
DoneYourWay and CondoCruiser Thank this.
