I run loose leaf log sheets and I'm running low. I have enough to get me to our terminal, but I was wondering if it was possible to log multiple days off on one sheet in case I get dispatched elsewhere.
Example: Sept. 5-9th, off-duty, etc.
I always use a separate sheet of paper for each day and the corresponding status. I've never had this issue before but I'm coming back after a holiday and forgot to stock up.
Thanks in advance.

yes that's fine, as long as it's ok with your company.

The rule is somewhere, no one quoted it yet, but you can keep going at least during a calendar month of off duty, I was told you had to do a new page at the start of a new month, but the computer logs (Eclipse and Trucklogger)would go right through that as long as you didn't go on duty.

They insist on having their drivers using their log sheets. They have no preference if I log multiple days on one sheet and the question was strictly regarding DOT regulations. It sounds like I'm fine doing this, thanks for the help all.truckon Thanks this.

(10) Recording days off duty. Two or more consecutive 24-hour periods off duty may be recorded on one duty status record.

They have said it all but log it all on the same sheet! "September 5-9 Off duty" Then you will have enough sheets, I normally carry at least 60 sheets in my possession in case I mess one up, Or get long delay at the shipper then.... no No In case I make a mistake.
GR8 Thanks this. -
I've logged my whole 7 previous days (98hrs.) on one log sheet so I would have the last 7 days for a DOT inspector/officer. That's all you're required to have is the previous 7 days.

I made photocopies of the company loose leaf logs and the company did not have a problem scanning them.

That is exactly correct!
