Co drivers up to 43 cpm and lead drivers up to 49 cpm the website says. Can someone brk that down. How much does new drivers receive per mile?Ok I just found the new pay for new drivers and doesn't go up much no matter how long you're there. Can you live on 11 cents per mile? You might as well go pick up cans for a living, you'd make more.

Did you even do the math what you would be making a week.I got $220.00 a week before taxes at 2000 miles a week. How many miles approx. do you crst teams receive every week?

His mind is already made up.But during his carreer hes going to find out travling a thousand or more miles for a stinken low paying job is not worth it.I would say those choices are better.

If I had to start over again I'd take any of these places no questions asked. But if he's not willing to listen and learn he won't make it far in trucking.pattyj Thanks this.

HOLY MOLY is CRST a bad company! I just looked at their CSA score, and they have as many crashes as Werner... and we have 5 times as many trucks! Their score is worse than 82% of other companies, and they are well above the intervention threshold.... Not a good company at all....

But that's ok,CRST is one of those too big to fail companies.FMCSA will make sure of that.

Wow, everyone commented on just about everything other then what the OP asked.
To the OP, I do not know if all their trucks are manual (standard) transmissions or not but your prior experience with a manual transmission will not be of much use in a big truck.
Cars have synchronized gears in their transmissions and are much easier to shift as a result. With a truck you will need to learn how to double clutch.
