Werner CSA Score, very bad.

Werner has more seasoned drivers than the other starter companies... COMBINED. We actually had to fire a lot of experienced drivers because only the new students were afraid of CSA. The old drivers refused to change.. they would just complain and refuse to comply... keep getting tickets.
Once we fired the old drivers who kept getting tickets, our score went down 30 percent. Werner went way out of their way to keep these old drivers, they kept getting pulled over for not wearing their seatbelts and for speeding... taking roads they werent supposed to... you name it. Eventually they just got fed up and fired the ones who refused to obey the rules like new drivers.

 

There's a lot of truth to this post. We had the same problems, the veteran old hands were unwilling to change their ways and kept getting caught. A few are now gone and a few were forced onto elogs and we've now made a huge improvement in our score as well.

 

I imagine almost every company that hires new drivers and aren't real picky has a very high csa score and safety rating.It'll never go down either as long as these companies don't care and as long as FMCSA doesn't care.

"Seasoned Werner drivers" that's the funniest ######### thing I've read in a long time

 

You guts do realize that we have entire walls covered in the current names of drivers with over a million safe miles, don't you? Werner has about a thousand drivers who have not only been with us 10 years, but not had an accident that whole time. Only 1 in 15 Werner drivers has an accident each year, including new drivers. Crst has 1 in 3 drivers have an accident.... Usx, covenant, cre, Stevens... Are way worse than Werner... Which is why we are not beyond the intervention threshold and all the others are...

But I would recommend Schneider, Crete, prime, and averitt unless you can go directly into Werner dedicated....
