Sleep apnea? Is it part of the physical now? I've never had one.

Depends on where you get the physical. Its in the new medical certification for the examiners where they have to be certified.

I went to coast to coast in west memphis. They did not directly ask questions or measure my neck. But she listened to my trach with her stethoscope. When I asked what she was doing she said listening to the blood flow in my neck. I had to restrain laughter. IF you were to listen to the fliw in the neck it wouldn't be at the trachea. I figure they get a lot of arguments from drivers and now listen for obstruction in your breathing before bringing it up.

I passed so two year card

Fmcsa was trying to get SA testing through the system as a guidence. Meaning it did not have to go through the normal approval process. Thanks to a couple folks and their state representative, along with OOIDA yesterday the process started to eliminate that posibility and FMCSA released an announcement that they would pursue it through the proper channels. By doing it the right way they now have to prove its necessity and do a cost analysis.
    Thanks OOIDA!

A 34? I didnt think there was such a thing at USA anymore. They keep me maxed out on hours until I get home. I picked up a 1700 mile load yesterday that delivers tomorrow night in CT and preplanned out of Chicopee, MA to WI.
