When I was company they always gave me a warning or a countdown to get it fixed.....sometimes my dm would help and get me a load going to or near a terminal

You are aware that Swift will reimburse you for overnight parking I hope? You don't even need to get a PO# if it's less than $20. Just scan the receipt in with your trip paper work.

Ya, it goes up and down.
Sometimes they are right on the ball and plan you to best utilize your hours without worrying about going over.
Then there are the times when they try to plan you to the exact minute of going off duty.
Plus-1 does not even allow for a 30 minute pre-trip! Not to mention time to scale or fuel. Or the need to shower, do laundry, or anything else.

We all know that we can not be expected to keep a schedule to the minute without enough leeway.

ok I will try scanning it in and see if they do it, my trip numbers are a bit screwy because of what im doing, when I got to Lathrop the guy at dispatch was all confused about what im doing and he had to change some stuff around to get my dispatched on this load. Now the other guy will have to go in tomorrow and fix everything I have been doing.

got my permits all updated except for one in like New hampshire, I never drive over there

its that time for them to start getting bad, I got bit a couple times the other night since I leave my windows down. I have thought about buying those screen inserts but only if universal so if I get trucks switched.
I decided I will just take off in the morning, its 54 miles so I will just leave a hour earlier in case I run into bad traffic like I have been

Rolled into the shop for a Swift 90 day tech failed trk on 2 tires. I knew 1 tire was iffy and was prepared to have them put on a used one, however by the time they got me into the shop, (I was parked outside the bay for about an hour) I called no joy and told him I'd get the tire at the terminal on my way back through after my pickup. Got to the pickup, she told me to drop mt in dock 11, my preload is in 33. Go to 33, nothing there, so went back to talk to her she said my load was cancelled I am free to leave. I said, I'm taking my mt, she said they already started loading it for another destination, cannot take it, byeeeeeeeeee. WTF. But it's not all bad, I went to the terminal and got 1 used tire put on, they could not see anything wrong with the RRI tire the tech said was no good. Then back to the truck stop, their policy is if I return within 48 hours they will honor my payment (for failed inspection) for a new DOT inspection.
