They did an A1C test which shows your average over the last 30 / 60 days or something like that. It was 7.7, which calculates to 197
It was 279 when they checked it with the little meter.

Well I guess I shouldn't invite you over to the driver's window for a snickers bar....

My OCD kicked in on me yesterday, right after my observational skills got a wake up call... lol
It's been a minute since I was last in SoCal.
I pulled into TA Ontario East to shut down, did my PTI, and went to hit the mess, and it was only when I noticed the Country Pride restaurant was now a Rusty Frying Pan (Iron Skillet) that I realized there is no longer a TA East. Just a TA on the west and a Petro on the east.
I was like "when did this happen!?" Lol
Good thing I rarely eat at TA/Petro restaurants 'cause that woulda pissed me off! It still did kinda upset my zen a little.
    Guess I don't like change.

God forbid we have 2 TAs across the street from each other.
Wouldn't want a universe-ending paradox to unravel all of space and time, blowing reality into oblivion...

I have not been to SoCal since June, but I had heard they were changing East to Petro, which creates a quandary for me... I almost always will take a Petro over a TA, but I always use West in Ontario, never liked East.

I guess I'll have to wait to get there again to decide what to do LOL.

Well first trip out of the grad gate (after first home time) is.... you guessed it!! Hunts Point.
Amarillo to NYC 1701 miles. Woohoo!
Definitely not as scary as so many people made it out to be. The docks are fair sized. I was in tighter spots during training.
Would have made it a little easier had I arrived before dark. I hope I can get out of here before dark.
I am at the dock hopefully getting unloaded soon. My appt was for 6am, I turned in paperwork and phone number and woke up at 8am with no call still. I asked about my appt and guy at the window said "Appointments dont mean ###### around here."
Oh well. I got my 10 and my coffee is brewing.
    Be safe.

    msa Thanks this.

Hunts point is easy... but yea, appointment times don't mean jack... first come first buddy served... And the "back" way in is so much easier than the stevens route in...

    flue Thanks this.
