Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw. Sometimes it's agents playing favorites. Either way, not a lot you can do about it. Just part of the game.

I stumbled onto this thread on another search and somehow have actually read the first 275 pages! Yes, I know.... I need more things to occupy my mind. That said, I guess what caught my attention was the exchanges between the guys that are making it happen and the wannabe's. I'd just like to compliment you regulars on your level-headed approach to the guys that seem heii-bent on self destruction. Skateboardman, you and I have been in this business almost the exact same amount of time and take a very similar view of it. I suspect you and I would enjoy a visit over a pot of coffee although that likely won't happen because I run fairly local and am in a crappy freight area for you Mercer guys. Anyway, Kudos to you guys making it happen. I gotta go back and see if KMX ever quits!!

How long has it taken for you to go from one truck to ten? Is that mercer and fedex combined?

I just saw a load paying $2.55 a mile on 1200 miles to Cali. I was shown as "REFUSED" on it. When I went to book it, it just disappeared. I asked my coordinator about it and was told the guy in front of me got it. How did I have a chance if the load was listed as "REFUSED"?

I am not liking how the coordinators play favorites. That load was only on the board for a few minutes.

When it goes off the board quickly, it is because it went to the 1st or 2nd driver in line.
On loads like that, your position Is everything.
