Depends on when you pick up on Friday, when you deliver on Monday and your hours ... I started my clock 1330 on Sunday ran the last 250 miles of my first load and delivered. Knocked off another 410 and unloaded my next load Monday at 1300. Then picked up and will finish the week tomorrow at noon with another 1215 miles, barring any major delays. Running recap all the way, will unload with 70 minutes left on my 70 ... 72 hours 1875 miles ... total for the 7 days, 3470 miles - the best 7 day week I've had.
Good night from...

Booneville, MO. Already pplaned. PU and del time was adjusted, pu before 1500 on Friday and deliver between 0900 and 1400 in Cleveland. Actual miles was closer to 2100. After del on Friday will not really have that much time to run. Trying to keep my hours down some every day so that I can continue to run off recap. Mystic, it was a command load. This will make my forth in a row. They even matched Swifts rate out of PHX.

... on my 4th one also. Doubt they can get me out of Miami though.
Heads up the planners have been trying to cancel our Command loads. Swift is overbooked in a lot of areas and the planners are canceling all broker loads - though there is a directive to not touch the Command loads. -
Thanks. I saw that on our facebook page. Waiting to see if the computer tries to pull this next pplan off me. Should not since the pplan del shows 10/15 thru 10/17/ Plenty of time per the computer. Matt was already talking to me about getting me set up back SWest out of Cleveland. have to wait an see how hours look on Monday.

at home for my final night, its been a nice home time. Got paid today so we drove to the city and did some shopping and getting all my bills out of the way, got my daughters birthday gifts and supplies for her birthday party on the 2nd. Enjoying a couple drinks and about to fire up the grill and make my special basil, corn and feta mashed potatoes my wife has been trying to get me to make for a long time now plus we picked up some nice tomato and mushroom foccacia and garlic and herb foccacia at costco.
Called up the DM im working with and he informed me I will be busy with him until January since we have the 50 lease trailers in Sac to move and then another 150 south. Looks like I will be able to stay out of the snow for awhile too. I also talked with him about a few trailers where I did not make much money on because of swifts routing system, a couple of them only routed me 1 mile each way when it was far more, another 9 when it was 30 etc etc so tomorrow he said we will go through them and he will add some hours to my next check to make everything fair.
I bobtail to the Shafter target tomorrow morning to pick up a 14 foot trailer he wants me to move north and then deadhead to Atwater to pick up a load going to Oregon and will tcall it in Lathrop then on to moving the lease trailers to the rail yard. -
He will be sorely missed and I'm seriously considering a move to another terminal (I live near Phoenix). -
Carson City, NV, at a Walmart.
Which sucks, because I'll not have a good cup of coffee at 0200 when I start driving again.
Even worse, no truck stops for a long ways away to get one.
It's just been one of those loads where Murphy has been right with me the whole time. -

Here in Guymon, OK. What a day of winds, headwinds from KC to Wichita, and then west on US 54, winds out of the SW. Dropped my MPG from 7,8 to 6.6. I have never gotten a break from the winds when on US54, and usually if I catch them now, I will have them all the way across and that includes I-40. Now time for my favorite food when here, the AYCE Chinese buffet.

Good night from Paris TX. Supposed to be home in California tomorrow lol, they offered me a load out of Paris here to KC. The time was very tight, I could only see it possible at full speed the whole way with a 5 minute pretrip and strict 30 minute break. They said it was a firm delivery time so I had to decline it.
In other news I will be leaving Swift pretty soon. Will be signing onto a new outfit and running mostly the I-5 fleet so that I will never be more than a couple days away from home. Percentage pay, practical miles, pet friendly- even for company drivers.fr8monkey, inkeper, blsqueak and 1 other person Thank this.
