    Today started SLOW. My first official load was supposed to be picked up at 13:00 or after.
    Since it was in Baytown I started heading that way at 11:30.
    I was just about to jump on 59s when he calls and says I have two loads at SDV.
    I KNEW how that would probably play out. Only got one of the loads. And they tried to combine two different Airway Bills going to two different cities by two different SDV people.
    Once I told dispatch of that he said write another ticket. That's one of the reasons I like Roland!
    Delivered that and headed for Baytown. Took forever for someone to allow the place to Palletize 10 drums. Nobody told Roland but they really wanted a stake or a box instead of my flat bed.

    Anyhow got it loaded. Drove and got it delivered. And no more out of the office. So dropped the trailer and boogied home.

    Beat feet down to Philly this morning to pick up a preloaded trailer at the drop yard. No trailer. Looked everywhere. Threw in the towel and asked dispatch if they knew anything about it...

    It's not on DAT trailer... it's on DIS trailer! :biggrin_25520:

    :biggrin_25510:

    Ok... so now we're gonna be late. Even if I do push it. So I push it, and get up to Johnstown NY, only 10 minutes late. Instructions say do DIS... so I do DAT, but DEY wanit done like DIS 'n DAT.

    :biggrin_25512:

    So get unloaded and watch the new kid trying to get backed into a tight dock space. The yard dog finally has had enough, tells the kid to drop the trailer, and he puts it in for him.

    :biggrin_2556::biggrin_25521:

    Head down to the truckstop, n' order some lunch. No corned beef. :biggrin_25510: Ok... gimme a burger. :biggrin_25512: Ka-beep. You got a load! GRRR! I told you fools I didn't have any hours!! Besides, I haven't et since before Philly. Hurry up 'n eat...

    :biggrin_2554:
    Get loaded trailer. Almost out o' hours. Boogie up to the WallyWorld. Get some supper cooked... and it looks like I'm done! :yes2557:

    Oneonta NY. You know what's next... :biggrin_25518:

    It was a parking lot on the way in this morning so I got off and followed the trucks and trusted they knew where they were going. Saved me at least 45 minutes.

    I drive by Peru a couple times a week. So far no CS sitings.
