Hey, anybody know if Western Express is a good company? Just kiddin'.
-
Too bad they only have chocolate milk. I like my fruit punch Kool Aid.
Got my OD on and rolling to Flor-I-Duh. -
See BD. Now you making the money.
Myself, sitting at home spending money on the truck. Front spring bushing and new seats and new harmonic balancersBlind Driver Thanks this. -
I am willing to do that stuff when I get my own truck
-
But are you gona do the actual labor of installing parts like front spring bushings?
Kinda wish I wasn't doing them myself,as these are real pill. -
I did a bunch of those for a container company in Louisville. We did it all.
I got good at clutches. I could have a transmission on the ground in 45 minutes
All the trucks were the same. Once I know what tools I needed, I got them on the shop floor ready for work. I hates brakes. Boss wanted the pivot bushings changed. Those were a real pita. The pivot pins were hard enough sometimes, but the bushings could take awhile. I never saw the points of changing those.
Then the was tire work with no Golden Tool. Ugh. Getting paid by the hour meant I worked extra safe !!!

I loaded with three of those guys. Each complained about siting too much. Then they would start hauling cheap freight. No thanks lol

Howdy all, haven't been on here in a while. So after better than a year of talking to every driver I could find and reading every post on here and pming several of you I finally got my poop in a group and came on over. Been here a little over a month now and So far I can say its the best move I ever made. to early to tell really but I dont think I'm actually making any more money than I was but wow the atmosphere difference is huge! They money part is most likely my own fault. Took a couple trips out west to generate some quick revenue. First trip worked out great second trip only so so. Sat a couple days in Idaho but the rate there kept me from being unhappy about it. Still learning my way around how things work and learning new tricks almost daily. Can't say enough about the people from drivers to office folks. Everyone has been super helpful. Its really nice to be around proffesional folks for a change. Special thanks to skateboardman and bd for putting up with my pm's. I like my koolaid in a fruit punch flavor and drinking all I can find.
Blind Driver and POPS3480 Thank this. -
Did anyone hear about the Mercer Driver that killed the 2 people changing a flat tire on the FL turnpike? How sick is that? Does Mercer not care about their safety score anymorw.
