Accidents happen!! I want there nor was you so how can u blame the mercer driver without knowing the facts????

 

Your one post and you come to us with this yes mercer cares. One driver making a mistake does not count for all and I'm sure they are going to roast him. Plenty other companies have had things happen. Let's get back to the money making topics so we can learn more from the vets. Yes I'm sure some of you will attack my rant about the system I was bumped off a sweet load but overall this is the best company in the world all other companies suck. Go Mercer.

 

Why did the driver run and not stop that was just stupid. I would hope that he felt a bump because the dent in the bumper was pretty big. I am sure that the GMG's are nervous about Mercer, wait a minute the GMG's don't care about anyone but themselves.

 

That is your opinion, I think they are an awful company to work for. I was there for 10 years and not one GMG called to ask me why I was leaving or to see who I was going to, so now you tell me if they care.

 

So where are you now?

 

I went local but that does not matter. The point is they did not even ask. So if you thnks the GMG's care about you they don't. You are just another truck # to them. Their worry is about the loads that they are missing but the loads they are missing not even a broker carrier would not cover as a back haul.

 

I left Mercer this summer, not because they are a bad company, but because of where I live. Jason in contractor relations called me and wanted to know why I was leaving, I told him and he still tried to talk me out of it. They are a good company and I can guarantee you that they care about the safety of everyone on the road.

With that said you can STOP the talk about your opinion on them not caring, because it is not true. It's alright to speak your mind about what you don't like about them, and what you did like, but the comments above are not needed nor wanted.

I went to a small carrier closer to home, this really isn't the thread to get into anymore than that.

 

I can tell you Dale Corum, Rick Reed, John Fallot, and Joel Franklin only care about themselves. If they didn't then tell me why Joel F got his son the Denver Agency when he only has been in trucking for about 3 years. John E is about the only GMG that cares about Mercer.
