I've never had any problems at that TA. My only real complaint is that they only have the buffet on certain days. I usually op for a truck stop over a rest stops becsuse I don't carry much food in the truck anymore and im able to eat healthier out of a restaurant rather than soups and crap out of the truck. Also, if they didn't charge for parking they would be over ran 24/7. Most truck stops in major cities charge for this reason. But, its always nice to know you are pretty much guaranteed to get a parking spot there no matter what time you roll in.

Like I said. Ill use it if I have to. If I go there I eat at the restaraunt. Ill buy a shower, dvd, some other item to hit my $20. Its not a huge deal. But if I'm paying I expect clean bathrooms and no lot lizards. Especially if you have security. They have security at jessup ta but I always see him in his car by the scale. Never seen him patrol.

The elogs are not a big deal. For the most part I've not needed to be creative on the paper logs. I tend to average 60 miles per hour and am usually able to legally run a little more 3800 miles per week. Also, my log scores all are always aroud 98 percent. But, I do oppose elogs if I'm still going to be required to keep a paper log. It needs to be one or the other. I dont see a point in adding something extra.Thomas0810 Thanks this.

I'm running off recap now. Having to be creative, and don't have to worry if I'm one of the lucky's. Lol I still have the old Qualcomm.

My rule of thumb is to avoid DC, Baltimore, and the GWB any time the sun is up. If I'm going to hit the end of my hours while around that area, Ill either hold short or take 301. There are a couple nice mom and pops along that route that always have a parking spot for me. I'll never stay at those TAs.Reycer Thanks this.

Why would you be on both? That's running two logs and illegal.
As far as choice goes we don't have one. USA is switching over to elogs. You can either accept that or quit when you get the call. Thats how it was laid out to me when I got my call last march. Funny vecausr I never gripped about elog. I gripped about no apu and getting calls about my idle times. -
Im still on paper logs but wasn't sure how they did the elogs. I see quite a few drivers doing both though.
