They ran me on both my first three weeks. But I was a test dummy for the peoplenet system and they wanted to make sure it was working fine on both ends. Most people run both the first week. The paper being the log of record. Then you put the paper up and only use it if the elog goes down

Looks like I get to pick up tonight in mechanicsburg at nestle then down to disputanta va for a 1930 delivery to foodlion. If they get me done at the supervalue at a decent time I can make it down by the morning. I just want to make it south of Fredericksburg before mornin lol

Well my night just got screwed up. Preloaded in mechanicsburg going to disputanta va. Well trl has a flat that's off the rim. 6 tires between 70-86psi only 1 at 100psi. And one of the rear top markers is out. Uggggg.... won't be making it all the way overnight now. Screwed me up for the next couple days now.

Lol, sounds like you got one of the newer trailers with the auto inflation. I've learned not to get too excited when I get one of those until I've seen rather or not the tires have any air in them. The worst part about those is they are not air ride equipped. Hit a bump with a heavy load and it's like going over the side of a cliff and bottoming out.

Michelin tire service is real quick. Glad we started using them. Marker light wouldn't stop me. Get it fixed on your next 10 hr brk.

It was a 55000 trailer and the tire was blown out. No auto air on it. Just general crappy driver neglect.

As far as the light went.... breakdown said roll with it and get o itt fixed enroute. Isnt the marker light a dot violation?

I did what they said since I had it in a msg. I fixed the light myself this morning. Nacked in next to a concrete wall. But I was nervous as I rolled thru the Winchester VA scale at 3:30am

Oh and the tire service was not that quick last night. 2.5 hrs until he showed up from initial call. He was only 15minutes up the road. They even called me to verify my location 2hrs befote he showed. Bu said he was leaving out to come fix my tire. But still better than I've seen in the past.

I believe its ok as long as you don't have 2 lights out. The AR DOT stopped me at the scales awhile back for a headlight out and I just said I'll get it took care of and that was the end of it.

The light out is a violation, but the only way anybody get a ticket for it is having a piss poor attitude. Get it fixed as soon as you can, but be smart about it and don't leave it for the next guy just because you found it that way. As for the blown tire, call safety and let them address it with the person that left it like that.
