Horn broken. Watch for finger.
All you do is force the driver you're passing to back off by running him into every stopped vehicle on the shoulder, highway patrol, gator, and vehicle coming on to the road.
Good on ya, mate.

Silly trucker don't you know it's all about me anymore.who cares what you think,my truck is faster,my load is more important. You're in my way,I don't have time of day for you. That's how it is anymore, man gets it in his mind he's right, can't tell him otherwise. I'm not that old but, sure so miss the old days!blairandgretchen and 'olhand Thank this.

How about the bad habit of not doing a pre trip, ever look around the truck stop early morning, how many "drivers"do you see open hood? How many just pour out pee bottle, push buttons and roll? Can count on one hand how many I've seen do pre trip, and 95% of those were o/o.
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
What about good habits? One truck driver from years ago, while doing walk around would wipe every light he could reach. Put a hand on every tire, when was last time you did this? The truck drivers I learned from were totally different from today. Most all wore dress shirt,if not uniform.
'olhand and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Blind people driving! It does seem that way sometimes.

High beams, when they're getting close and still haven't dimmed their lights I'll usually toggle my headlights on and off. It works as a reminder and doesn't blind anyone. Nothing wrong with a quick flash of the brights either.
Elephant races, it's all been said. However, if you're a courteous driver who values their space on the road you'll rarely get stuck in one of those.merlensbox, Hammer166 and 77smartin Thank this. -
I agree, what you stated is the best approach and the most stress free when it comes to the elephant races.
