Given the nature of the post he'd be responding to... I'd say he's not keyboard shy, just ban-hammer shy.;)

Don't know if you've seen this video or not... dashcam recordings of truck crashes.
While watching it I realized there's some dumb dumb drivers out there!:yes2557:

    Check it out!

Can anyone refer me to a few good ten speed downshifting videos...I'm trying to learn my RPMs for each speed and gear...uphill and down.... I made the shifts on some during school today, but I'm afraid the grinds were outweighing the smooth still.

    wd40 --

I went to YouTube and searched "shifting a ten speed." There's a ton of clips. I didn't evaluate them--some may be weird--but there's many to choose from. At the start, grind will outweigh smooth, but the more you practice shifting, the easier it will be. BOL. Hang in there. Before you know it, your shifts will be smoother than an automatic transmission.

For some folks first learning to double clutch, it's the leg-arm-brain coordination that is new. The video might help. Like the guy says, "practice, patience, rhythm and timing." I say, "Practice until you don't have to practice anymore."
