http://www.ams.usda.gov/mnreports/wa_fv190.txt gives some details.
Not that good, plenty of trucks. Citrus starting good holiday movement, rates kind of low, from what I hear. -
too many trucking companies down here to get good rates. you might try the apple run out of yakima, washington. many drivers shy away from running to the north west this time of year. so the rates are better.
-
Because of the snow or what?
-
Maybe its because of snow because it is now winter I think..
-
Going to get a LOT worse for rates in Florida next year this time. Cause AMAZON building HUGE warehouse in southeast Hillsborough County (Tampa) and all those hundreds of trucks inbound to it will need loads out. Businesses shipping out of lorida going to be even more happier.
-
Yes,
I'm watching this closely.
Curious to the real number of trucks per day, that will be going there..
-
Good question. I never seen one of their warehouses but I believe news said it's over a Million Sq.ft. Building. Sure it be same as others they have or bigger. Broke ground Months ago. Suppose to be done within a year. So summertime next year at latest loads will be hauling inbound.

Yeah, but most of the incoming freight to Amazon will be on rail-road pigs or otr dry van trailers. Most produce in Florida leaves in reefers.
GITRDUN45 Thanks this.
