Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences. Makes it much easier to know what imay getmyself into. I have a quick question for people working for w/s. What's their policy with cats? I got one that's family. I'm cool with deposits and all that. Just haven't seen them mentioned. I've considered going to sage in Missoula and applying to w-s or jone's bros. for some time. They sound ok for a noob like me. It seems it would also benefit me because I'm a local, and itseems like home time would be a little easier since I live twenty minutes near the base. Thanks

I would suggest you call W/S and ask their pet policy. I don't remember any of the W/S guys I knew having pets.....
You probably won't get many answers on this thread the OP (orginal poster) is gone as are many of the people in this thread.
Read lots in here and ask questions-the people on this forum are full of years of knowledge and experience. You will get many positives and negatives but keep asking and reading. Good luck with everything! -

I'm a current WS driver and I can tell we have a pet policy, $500 deposit, lots of folks with dogs. Haven't seen any cats but I'm sure they're in the same boat (allowed) as dogs. Hope that helps.

Yes I saw a couple the other day up in Helena that had 2 cats

Deposit is the same for dogs and cats at $500. You can't have one until your 90 days are up. Same goes with a passenger which is $25 a month to cover insurance.
