I drove a 2013 prostar last year with the auto start for 120,000 miles with no problems either. I loved it.

0h I forgot....I had my two week post surgery check up and I'm down 40 pounds and I have been taken off of my blood pressure meds! Hopefully I can get a note from the doc that I don't need my meds. That way I can get a two year med card :headbang:

I'm on a 1200 miler too: Crete, NE to Lincoln, NE to York, PA. I hooked up to a t-called trailer last night in Lincoln, NE after dropping my loaded trailer in Crete, NE at Purina where there were no empties, and then spent the night. Got up early this morning and covered in excess of 600 miles today. That leaves 587 miles for my 22:00 delivery tomorrow night at Unilever in York, PA. No room for errors or delays on this one.

Fortunately, Interstate 83 Diner with about 50 truck parking spots is about a quarter of a mile away from Unilever, as that is where I'm planning to stay after my delivery. However, if they are full and I have enough time remaining, then plan B is to drive to the Petro in Carlisle about 30 miles away. That Petro never fills up. It can be tough to find parking spots sometimes late at night over there.

For the first time since I got this truck (182,000 miles), I've been down for more then 36 hours. At 345,000, it's failed at regen. At Lincoln now waiting on a new doser valve. Got here Friday afternoon, was told by Troy that "the truck is supposed to do that" (after I described in great detail after nearly two weeks of studying the patterns of behavior of the truck). I wrote up a service sheet and went to bed. Got up the next morning and spoke to the day foreman and got a sympathetic ear. Unfortunately, it wasn't throwing any codes, so they could only go on my description of the events. Came to conclude the doser valve is to blame, but they don't have all the parts needed to replace it. But given the fact I still had the ability to prompt a parked regen (or an automatic regen, as long as the 'regen needed' light was lit), we decided jointly to run with it.

I get a 1700-miler to CA, which I can not take because I'm supposed to be home next weekend. So weekend gives me a 101-mile load to deliver Sunday night at 2200 (this is Saturday morning when I get the load). I send two nastygrams and commit to pick up the load.

Deliver the load and park at Bosselmans. Got up this morning, regen light is flashing. But now I can't get the Check Engine light to go out. So...I limp it back to Lincoln, and here I sit until tomorrow. But given the good service this truck has given me, I really can't complain about it. Troy, the night shop foreman, is another story. I'll simply not deal with him again, and let both day foremen (weekend and weekday) know that.

2400 miles each of the last two weeks, both six-day weeks. This week obviously isn't starting well, but I'm staying out T'giving day to go through the house Sunday, which is when the family is getting together. My birthday is Saturday, so perhaps I'll get home Saturday night......

All of this, BTW, followed a comedy of errors for three days going back to last Wednesday....more on that later....
