Well Dang....I was a day to early... left Phoenix early this morning. Just dropped in Denver. TA for me tomorrow.

 

Fozzy, did you get a 680??? That's what my new 680 is saying! Spent 5 days in a KW. They didn't have a clue. And it came back right away.
How is your mpg's?

Well, the truck is out of the shop. However, I got 2 miles down I-70, and the CEL came back on... I'm NOT going back to Kenworth. I'm going back to the yard to make Danial give me another truck. They can troubleshoot this on their own time.
My padowan and I are in Liberal with the promise of a repower to Dallas ASAP. I bet that's a promise they'll keep too. We were getting 5.5-6 mpg deadhead...
My DM let me know I got $300 in breakdown pay.
So things are okay.

Interestingly, when we bobtailed to Walmart in Liberal, the CEL went away. So I'm thinking it must have something to do with load...
I don't know...

to all on the road today, thank you. I have been there, and I will also suggest, find a truck stop, go in and eat dinner, with others, who are also on the road today. Talk about what ever, thank the waitress and cooks who also had to work today.
I know it is off the beaten path, but Dorrie Lou's in Casper WY serves a good thanksgiving feast. Also known as the Ambest/sinclair truck stop. I also had a great dinner at the Sapp Bros in PA.

 

Well, TLeaHeart pretty much said what I was going to say.

First off T H A N K S to you guys that keep the freight moving. Without you guys we would have no Thanksgiving meals, or anything else for that fact.

Also, take the time to stop somewhere and have a nice turkey dinner. If you can afford it, double the tip amount that you would normally leave the server. They are having to spend the day at work as well and I bet that they will really appreciate it.

Y'all be safe out there and just know that there are people that are keeping y'all in mind. You arent forgotten on days like this!

I had Thanksgiving at Sapp Bros in Cheyenne a couple years ago and they did a great job.
