and as a matter of fact jersey to ohio, ohio to indiana, and then back to ohio for the same rate, + 220 miles of deadhead is far more than 1300 miles 'just sayin'

hang around a while longer and you will fully understand what spyder is saying, sometimes the 1.95 a mile load in the long run beats the pants of the 2.30 a mile load. it all it what it is, what it weighs and where it ends up.

ya must be something special going on there cause 2.73 a mile out of jersey is great to go west, all i ever see is 1.70, 1.65, but those are just regular flat loads, no extra gimmicks or oversize or anything like that

while there are lots of those 1.70 loads, there is also quite a few 2. to 2.25 ones. are you searching the board yourself or relying on your coordinator?

I was much further in than iowa city. also, they would load late if needed and wasn't entirely positive my delivery would get me out fast, so when it showed up Wednesday morning I jumped on it. is it likely I could have done better? maybe, but it is winter and wasn't gonna risk getting held up delivering, not being able to make it to a pickup on time and sitting till Monday in this frozen tundra.
