take the time to look at all the entrees before starting. They have a wide selection of almost everything. One of my favorite places to gain weight!

I am. Heard a lot about the buffet, steak and what not. Glad that I parked it. Hearing the news and around DC and Philly and Baltimore it is bad, and when the games are done, all of the cars getting back out. I want no part of that. They are saying by morning just rain, but the snow is coming down up there, and also being Sunday, finding a place to park on the NJTP would not be fun

Watching the NFL games right now, and the weather is certainly a factor in the games. All the stadiums are FULL. When the games are finished the traffic will be challenging to say the least.
-
Challenging is not a word that I would use. More like bumper cars. Just imagine getting out of the parking lots. I-95 is going to be a joy in the morning.

6 inches plus snow fell during the Eagles game in Philly. And they won in a comeback too. That alone is enough to put the crazies out and about in Philly.

still hanging out in SLC. Didn't get a room after all, just hung the IdleAire in the window for heat, TV and power. Nonstop load offers to Colorado. Lots of drama in the truck stop today, first saw an ambulance and fire truck cruising the lots in circles, and the bobtail guy in front of me kept laying on his air horn. I finally went over to ask him what he wanted, he could barely speak. But I could tell he was in bad shape, probably a heart attack so waved over the medics and they took him away on a stretcher. Later on a i hear more air horns and turn on the CB and some guy is claiming to be hit by another guy backing out and other people on hte CB saying 'no you were not hit' So Abby and I went over to be nosy and these drivers were about to duke it out, the one saying he was hit but there was no damage and 2 witnesses saying he was not hit. The guy was threatening to call the cops if the backer left the scene of an accident lol. The other driver told him to call the coroner for himself as well.
In other news I couldn't get my bunk heater done, the little screen wouldn't come out, gonna need some super skinny surgical needle nose pliers to remove it and install the new one.IdleAir Thanks this. -
I love all the drama.
I'm in KS headed for home time with my girls in Denver tomorrow.
The ice storm and some very icy and slow roads put me behind schedule, but only about 5 hours.
I'm planning a few days to do some fun things with them, and do some birthday and Christmas shopping for their presents.dptrucker Thanks this. -
sounds like fun moose. enjoy your time with your family.

shop got my truck in this morning, so i drove over to fontana and watched the snowbowl(philly and lions) then watched the 49 er game. shop texted me saying truck was finished. so drove over after the game and got it and ran it for a spell. noticed no smell and coolant lite never came on. they said they had found another coolant leak and had replaced some exhaust hose. so we'll see if this is fixed or not. not sure if swift will give me another truck tomorrow or not

ran to Grenada Hills then down to Long Beach for a Yussen load, took it back to DC then ran a load to Lancaster and shut down at the Loves in Tehachapi and im home sweet home for a 34. The loves parking lot was like a giant slip and slide but the lot was half empty when I got there at 20:30, guessing nobody wanted to shut down where it was freezing. Now I just have to hope I will be able to get the truck started up Tuesday morning since its sitting in freezing temps. I assume the loves uses an additive in the freezing weather but I only put in 86 gallons.
