This may sound STUPID? But can we work on getting a CAP on how many HANDS are in the POT on a LOAD thats brokered?
I think JAMMER told me one time he hauled a LOAD that had been brokered out 5-7 TIMES? Am I right JAMMER?
RATES are WAY to low from all the BOTTOM FEEDERS, or HUGE companies cutting other companies throats!
CUT OUT to many hands in the POT and RAISE RATES!
MAKE a FSC Mandatory and the FSC is LEGALLY the TRUCKS only...
None of this ######## where we only see 80% of the FSC thats Bull!
That FCS is to the TRUCK not the Broker! -
CH ROBINSON, ALLEN LUND, ect...
They are ALL out of control! It's Those Pencil Pushers that have got our freight so dam low it's SICK!
I would say no 3rd PARTY BROKERING PERIOD!
CH ROBINSON has got customers and well thats fine... We now haul for NO LESS than $4.00 PM " SCUMBAG" lol..... -
Changing laws are going to take lots of time. If we come across the wrong way, No one we take us serious. If we stick to the things that can be changed without getting the Government (Laws) involved, Our demands will be met quicker and then we can start the long process of getting the laws changed.

The only thing a strike is going to do is leave an even worse taste in the mouth of public opinion.
-
in My opinion a strike is to get awarness. From there you find people to take up the cause. Just striking is not going to change law by itself. It lends us a credibility that we lack now and would make people really think about it
-
you cant call it a strike however without organization. and you can have it be a strike without demands to be fullfilled. it can only be an awaerness program. or a movement. and attention getter.
the industry on the highway is not part of an Union, so it cannot be called a strike. Period.
you all really need to think long and hard about this, because in the end, terminology used will play a major factoring role in this. -
