What type tractors are they using now? Auto or manual, and what type? do they utilize APU's or use EPU's?
What is the idling policy if idling is needed?

Thanks in advance. Seems that there isn't alot of talk going on as of lately about Arnold..hmmmm!!

Palmer is such a legend. Always liked his swing. Also his Tea drinks by Arizona are good. :)

Mostly manuals, apus on some trucks that came from LinkAmerica. Never heard a complaint about idle time.

Most Arnold trucks do not have APU's

They have low roof petes that are 9 speed.
Raised roof petes that are 9
    A few internationals
Raised roof Freghtliner Cascadias that are auto

Its luck of the draw for what truck you will get. Most drivers get a low roof pete that you cant stand up in.

As for idling...the trucks will shut off if not bellow or above a certain temp. They do have bunk heaters though so you will stay warm in winter w/o idleing.
