You would have to call Teresa and talk to her about dedicated accounts are near you.
I'm near Reno, NV fueling up. Talked to a solo driver doing the Coors beer dedicated. He does about 3,000 miles a week.
I think solo drivers have better options. US Xpress probably has accounts you could get on after six months that gets you home on the weekend or daily. That way, your wife could get a job while you both wait till she's eligible for her license.

Just listened to the infoline msg. Congrats to USX for getting more business from P&G and Tractor Supply.
dennisroc Thanks this. -
Anyone looking into Ceva should know to never trust the DriverTech GPS. I would say 90% of the time it gets the location off by a mile or two...sometimes even further.

Congrats on your new truck!!! That's awesome. And more congrats on getting a wonderful dedicated account to run. I'm happy for you and your wife.
I wasn't able to pull up that picture or magazine issue that your wife was featured in... darn.
Thanks to your thread.... I'm understanding what people mean about their communication frustrations at USXpress now.
Keep us posted! -
Thank you !
She was featured in that magazine back in July. It's an online publication.
A lot of the office people in the evening and weekends are young kids or adults who act like children. From what I've been told, when the economy went under....US Xpress got rid of some of their long time employees for younger & cheaper employees.
These dedicated accounts tend to shield you from the not so bright people.horsecrazychic22 and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
Here are the pictures I took of the Fontana, CA terminal (aka dropyard)

The Fontana, CA is worlds apart from the Colton, CA terminal. Fontana is small, more like a dropyard. We share this yard with Dart, May & a few other companies. Schneider has a yard next to us. Its a dirt yard. When you get there, you have to uncouple. Park the trailer one place then the bobtail another. The aisles just aren't big enough for trucks to get through if you had two trucks coupled. The showers are similar to the ones at Springfield, OH but bigger. 4 total showers, a laundry room & a mens and womans restroom. The office is in another building.
The good things about this place is that its near the TA truck stop & one other. A lot places to eat nearby. Forgot to look into the nearest Wal-Mart.
We found this really good Mexican place. It doesn't deliver but there is a place to park the Bobtail.
