LTL? FFE Advice and so fourth?

Sorry for making a new thread. I wanted to make another topic concerning a specific thing. What kind of LTL company's will train you to get your CDL then have you work for them? I have read of only FFE which does not take money out of your paycheck. Can I get some advice from anyone who has been with FFE or went through their course? And is there any other LTL company's that someone will recommend that puts you through or pays for you to get your CDL through a school? Thank you all for any help you may give

 

I'm looking into LTL because it just seems and feels like it would be a better choice for me. Being able to be home, and get the same pay or better and same benefits or better as I would a OTR or even as TL. I mean I wouldn't mind the traveling, but I can always go OTR in the future if I really really wanted to I'm sure. I live in Sacramento, California Would I call all these other company's as well like ABF, YRC, Old D ect. to try to figure things out or is there an actually link or what not that will give me instructions on how to LTL with them? And how to get into their training and so fourth? I couldn't find it on their site.

 

So from all my calls of company's here is what I was told.

ABF has a training school but it's not in Cali, however, the are not hiring in my area. So either way, it would be risky maybe?
YRC does not train anyone. (Really friendly people though it seems )
Old Domino has no recommendations for schools and does not do any sign on for schools like other company's but they seem not to care about what school you go to so that is good information.
Conway however does have a training school right here in Sacramento. However, I won't know if I can until next week when he is in sadly.

And as for Plye, I think they are only based in the east cost? I know their only school is in PA. So sadly, that one is too out of the question. So now my only choice it seems is Conway for LTL. Any other recommendations?
