anybody have a problem with them sticking that credit check box at the bottom of the form?
I don't really have anything to worry about. just seems like a weird place to stick it. I thought the review form was only for motor vehicle record. Do they actually fire people for bad credit these days?

I doubt any driver would be fired for bad credit
more might not be hired for bad credit
some might have good credit until they become drivers
the dision of have's and have not's is becoming larger dailySkydivedavec, Dinomite and Roadmedic Thank this. -
think that relates to the law about fair credit reporting and that it applies, is all.
Skydivedavec Thanks this. -
Was it asking for consent to perform a credit check, or . . . ?

Yes. It's not so much as to verify any credit issues but more to check you are who you say you are, SSN,Address,Full Name. In addition to all the other info you have put into an application.Skydivedavec Thanks this.

yes it says check the box and it allows them to check consumer agency. but you don't have a choice as you cant submit it without checking the box...kind a funny

according to the letter sent out in Dec , it requires you to check all three boxes and for them(SNI) that serves as your E-signature. Also, they will only run your MVR, which is what the credit thing was about. MVR is classifies as a consumer report and that falls under the fair credit and reporting act.
If you are concerned about it, you can have your free yearly report from all credit agency's and it will show who has run a report on you seeking info about credit. been with SNI for 2 years now and my last loan didnt show SNI as running credit.
They really should have an electronic version of the letter stating all the stuff on crossroads. But something like that makes sense , so of course they didnt think of it!!
